This is a canvas limited edition giclée, painted by Gary Fenske, embodies the spirit of Hawaii. It comes from one of his many visits to the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. The Night Vision edition includes a blacklight picture light.
The Night Vision is blacklight enhanced and hand painted by the artist.

While trying to understand the depth of an artist, there is much talk about art theory. What is the meaning of the piece? What did the artist intend? Was it mimetic representationalism, trying to imitate nature? Was it expressionism; expressing his inner state or, was it merely functionalism; created solely for our visual pleasure?
Now, when an artist adds luminous pigments into his painting, it is not just another painting. It adds another emotion, function or expression. Now we must ask, “Why did the artist use luminescence?” Art just got a little more complicated.
