What is "Night Visions"® Giclee?

A "Night Visions"® giclee is a limited edition, high-resolution reproduction.

To ensure that each giclee is archival and vibrant, Mr.Fenske prints his own giclees. They are more than just reproductions. Using his luminous pigment, he meticulously hand paints over each giclee and individually inspects each piece of art to make sure the luminous image is invisible. As a result, a Fenske giclee becomes an original "Night Visions"® painting.

"Night Visions"® Lighting

To see a "Night Visions"® painting, it must be illuminated with a black light. It is best to purchase a black light picture light or bulb recommended by the artist. There are many variables. Some are dim, others reveal different color temperatures or hardly work at all. The fixture designed by Mr. Fenske is the same fixture he paints under. Therefore, you are assured of accurate illumination for your painting.

Black lights have been around for a long time but remember that they are considered an invisible bright light source. Therefore, it is recommended that the lights be turned off when you are not viewing the painting and that they are not positioned where they will shine directly into your eyes for prolonged periods of time.
